Train! Fight! Survive!
Krav Maga is a practical and realistic self defense system that teaches how to prevent, deal with, and overcome all kinds of violence and attacks. It works with natural reflexes through constant practice and repetition to defend against attacks in an almost automatic way.
By emphasizing and practicing a few key defense techniques for each assault; the style is able to consider a wide range of defense options hardly ever found in other styles, making Krav Maga a complete fighting system.
Krav Maga prepares the trainees in the subjects of self-defense, self-protection, fighting and combat skills, as well as skills to defend others, all in unique and comprehensive teaching ways and a fun environment.
We believe that training in Krav Maga will make you fitter, tougher and prepared to fight in all situations. You DO NOT need to be "in shape" to practice Krav Maga. This type of self defense can be adapted to most body types and physical limitations.

Spartans - The Road
Many years ago on a cold December morning I arrived at the office. It was early, a light snow was falling and I saw a sheet of paper had replaced the Christmas wreath that traditionally hung in its place. I got out of the truck and quickly found a wet sheet of lined notebook paper stuck to the door of the office. Written in black ink with an unsteady hand was several sentences that described threats and harm to myself and my family. The author didn’t leave a name or forwarding address but did leave a strong impression on me. Looking back on the road to now, I see that as the starting point of a journey. The man that wrote that note wanted to make me fearful. Instead, it was a wakeup call—that I was responsible for my safety and that safety of my family. Since that day, I’ve spoken to many folks that have had that “wakeup” moment where it was made crystal clear to them that safety wasn’t to taken for granted.
I’m reminded of the poem “Opportunity” by Edward Rowland Sill. In it he depicts a battle scene that captures the essence of a true warrior. As the battle is raging with little hope of victory ("a prince's banner wavered, then staggered backward, hemmed by foes"), the weaker more cowardly men would relinquish their stand in face of the opposition and leave their comrades to die. Perhaps, they would even cry to the heavens that fate had denied them the upper hand against their superiors. The most honorable men like the prince instead make themselves aware of the situation, make the most out of the resources available and give all that they have –to their very last breath-- in fighting the battle.
There’s something special about hearing that wakeup call and not hanging up. This is why we at Spartan Elite strive to make starting and continuing down The Road seamless by providing tools and training each week. Our goal is to keep you prepared and ready for whatever comes.
